We are investors in private technology companies that transform finance & business technology across Europe. We invest up to €20m in companies for significant minority and majority interest. As growth investors, we are positioned between traditional venture capital and leveraged buyout firms. This means we are seeking companies with validation of product market fit, a proven business model and for which we see a pathway towards profitability within our 3-5 year investment horizon.
Based in London or Amsterdam, our internship program will last for 4 - 6 months starting in September 2024 and will allow interns to be fully exposed to the life cycle of Growth Equity investing. You will work closely with team members to understand sourcing, data analysis and conduct due diligence on potential investments.
Manage and filter companies in our database and using sourcing tools
Assist in preparation of special research reports such as the State of Fintech
Assist with sourcing new deal flow
Assist with due diligence on deals
Assist in other areas as may be required by investment team members
Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree
Excellent research & analytical skills, keen to learn and a critical thinker
Strong quantitative skills are helpful; you are not expected to be able to build financial models from scratch but should be comfortable with numbers
Good interpersonal skills, motivated to solve problems and team player
3 to 12 months relevant internship experience ideally in investment banking, consulting or other buyside firms
Good at working to a high standard to deadlines
Proficiency in Excel helpful
Experience using Python or another programming language desirable but not required.
English with another European language a bonus
